FOGLE UPDATE FEBRUARY 2005 Bibles International / Baptist Mid-Missions
PRAISE THE LORD WITH US!
1. A good start to our second Orientation Seminar. We're halfway through this week-long orientation, held at the BI office Feb 21-25. This is an initiative of the Stewardship Department, so we have a lot of responsibility this week. The entire BI staff works together with us to make the week successful. We're delighted to have two new couples with us this week, preparing for their ministries as Regional Representatives for BI:
- Rev. and Mrs. John Hadley. After many years of faithful pastoral ministry, then involvement in a "faith promise" ministry in cooperation with Continental Baptist Mission, John and Wonice have retired to FL. From there, John will serve BI part-time as Regional Representative for FL and GA.
- Rev. and Mrs. Paul Lobb. Years of faithful pastoral ministry led eventually to fifteen years as State Representative and Camp Director for Minnesota (GARBC). Paul and Edwina still live in MN. God has led Paul to serve BI part-time in his retirement as Regional Representative for MN, WI, ND and SD.
2. God's provision for the needs of Bibles International. In addition to the occasional larger gifts such as the ones mentioned in our last "Update," we continue to receive the smaller, sacrificial gifts that provide for the major part of our budget. We count heavily on this regular income. We appreciate very much this loyal, committed support which comes from numerous individuals and churches who love and trust the ministry of Bibles International.
PRAY WITH US!
1. Daughter Janine now in Zambia. God provided full support for Janine, missionary to Zambia serving with Baptist Mid-Missions, and in January she left for her first full term. Please pray for decisions she is making now about convenient, safe housing, and about a reliable, used, four-wheel-drive vehicle.
2. Additional personal support. Last month we reported on support increases, bringing us to a need of only $130 per month. Just after we sent out that news, a long-time supporting church contacted us to inform us that they were discontinuing their support of $100 per month. So we're back to needing about $230. Please pray.
3. Scheduling meetings for BI through 2005 and into 2006. Please pray for God's blessing on our contacts, and for open doors as we seek the right opportunities to present this significant missionary ministry.
