Dear friends,

Greetings from beautiful England!  This time of year is very pretty here with all the green around us, the daffodils opened, and the crocuses springing up all over.  We even get some sunshine and about 50 degrees once in a while!  It's a great feeling after the days of rain and darkness (it gets dark at about 4:00 in the afternoon here in December and January and doesn't get light until about 7:30 or 8:00 in the morning!)  We actually had some snow this winter, but it only stayed on the ground for about an hour...hardly long enough even for a snow ball fight, but we managed one!

We wanted to take this opportunity to just thank you once again for your faithful prayers and financial support for our ministry here in England.  We are aware again and again that we could not be here ministering if it weren't for you!  We thank the Lord for you and appreciate so much your interest in us and in our adopted land.  The Lord is really blessing the church here in Ramsey, and we firmly believe it is because there are so many people praying for the work here!  Thank you for being our partners in this endeavor!

We also would like to ask you to pray specifically for our upcoming Holiday Bible Club (VBS), which will be held on April 4-7 during the spring break.  It will be held in the evenings, and many of our men are involved in it as well as the women.  We are excited about this week, and expect a good turn out this year.  Please pray for the teachers, helpers, and students.  We desire to see God move in the hearts of these young people, many of whom come often to our Sunday School or children's clubs during the year, but don't have a relationship with God.  It will be a busy, but exciting, week and we need your prayers!

Please also pray for our upcoming Resurrection Sunday service.  We will be distributing 5000 flyers into community homes inviting people to this service and other special events throughout the summer.  We do this about 3 times a year, and are really praying for some fruit from these efforts!  What a joy it would be to see the church filled on that Sunday, as it was during the Christmas Carol service we held in December.  Currently we are having around 60 people on Sunday mornings, some of whom are unsaved but attend regularly, and still others who are visitors.  What a joy it is to see God at work here!  He has blessed even more than we had anticipated!  Isn't that just like our God????
